About The Position

The Assistant/Associate/Professor of Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery will provide clinical and classroom instruction in oral and maxillofacial surgery to pre-doctoral dental students at our community-based clinics. Academic rank will be awarded based on clinical and academic experience.

Requirements

• DMD/DDS
• Minimum 6 years of clinical practice or teaching experience
• Specialty Certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery from a CODA-accredited program
• Licensure and specialty certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery in Washington State
• Ability to exhibit strong collaborative skills to employ policies diligently and implement the dental school’s mission and vision
• Strong organization, interpersonal, and planning skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and flexibility to work with others in a variety of circumstances
• Ability to problem solve by analyzing issues, creating action plans, and following through resolution

Nice To Haves

• Board certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery is desired
• Academic/clinical teaching experience
• Clinical skills experience
