About The Position

West Virginia University School of Dentistry in Morgantown, WV is seeking applications for a full-time, 12-month appointment, tenure-track or clinical-track faculty position in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. This role involves didactic and clinical instruction at predoctoral and postdoctoral levels, patient care, and scholarly activity. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth of clinical services and research initiatives within the department and WVU Hospitals. The department also sponsors an advanced education training program and a one-year internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Requirements

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited US or Canadian Dental School or a foreign equivalent
  • Eligible for a West Virginia dental license
  • Specialty board eligibility or certification
  • Proven record of clinical excellence
  • Strong communication skills

  • Leadership qualities
