About The Position

The Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, in partnership with Indiana University Health, is seeking a Breast Imager with fellowship training or significant breast imaging experience to join their expanding breast imaging section in Bloomington, Indiana. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative, high-performing department and contribute to clinical care, education, and culture at a leading academic medical center. The position involves providing comprehensive breast imaging care across a multi-hospital network in southern Indiana, aiming to improve access to specialized breast care in the community. The department is one of the largest in the Midwest, with 14 dedicated breast imaging radiologists.

Requirements

  • Fellowship training in breast imaging or community radiologist with heavy breast imaging experience.
  • Ability to interpret the full spectrum of breast imaging studies including DBT mammography, breast ultrasound, full protocol and abbreviated breast MRI, automated whole breast ultrasound, image guided percutaneous biopsy.
  • Ability to perform and interpret image-guided breast procedures, including stereotactic, ultrasound-guided and MRI-guided breast biopsies.
  • Willingness to collaborate closely with breast surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.
  • Willingness to participate in multidisciplinary conferences and contribute to educational initiatives.

Responsibilities
