FORT VALLEY STATE UNIVERSITY (FVSU), a state and land-grant institution of the University System of Georgia, invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Chemistry. Fort Valley State University, the only 1890 land-grant university in Georgia, is a comprehensive institution that provides an education to over 2,800 students including graduate students. JOB SUMMARY This position is a full-time, 10-month, tenure track position at the rank of Assistant / Associate professor in Chemistry in the Department of Natural and Computational Sciences. The candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate-level courses related to Chemistry as needed by the Department, especially those in General Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Physical Science. The incumbent will also participate in departmental activities and initiatives.
