The Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at San José State University is seeking a tenured/tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor in Materials Engineering to begin in August 2026. This role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, adapting teaching methods for various learning environments including online instruction, and developing a robust research program that engages undergraduate and graduate (M.S.) students. The Materials Engineering program aims to provide high-quality education at the bachelor's and master's levels through expert instruction in classroom, laboratory, and research settings.
