About The Position

Applications are invited for a tenure-track assistant/associate professor position in the Accounting Department at Bradley University starting January 2027 or August 2027. The successful candidate is expected to teach, conduct scholarly research, mentor students, and contribute service to the university and community. We seek applicants with teaching and research interests related to financial accounting, although other subdisciplines within accounting will be considered. The successful candidate should also be willing to offer courses in financial or managerial principles. The position may involve teaching both in person and online courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Commitment to and evidence of outstanding teaching, strong publication potential, and a focused research agenda are required. Faculty are expected to maintain a high level of scholarly research and service. The Foster College of Business is proud to be one of only 189 schools that are AACSB accredited in both business and accounting. Requirements

  • A Ph.D. or terminal degree (e.g., JD/LLM) in Accounting or closely related field is required, although those with ABD status with expected degree completion prior to start date will be considered.
