About The Position

The School of Accounting in the Lundquist College of Business invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to join our collegial faculty committed to excellence in research, teaching, and service. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop a strong research program, collaborate with faculty across disciplines, mentor doctoral students, and engage with a highly supportive accounting community. Requirements

Completed Ph.D. in Accounting or a closely related field by the start date of the appointment.
Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence.
Ability to publish research in high-quality academic journals.
Exceptional doctoral candidates who are in the final stages of degree completion will be considered, provided all degree requirements are completed before the appointment begins.

Nice To Haves

A record of scholarly contributions, such as publications in top-tier journals, conference presentations, etc.
Ability to engage in appropriate research and publication to maintain scholarly currency and AACSB scholarly academic (SA) designation.
Ability to effectively teach courses at undergraduate and/or graduate levels.

Ability to help mentor PhD students and supervise their research.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and/or staff from different backgrounds.
