Assistant Amusement Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Amusement Manager is a technical expert responsible for keeping amusement arcade games and virtual reality games in ideal playing conditions. This role provides additional leadership to Game Technicians, supports the Amusement Manager, and positively impacts the business by providing excellent guest service. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced, multi-faceted restaurant/entertainment scene, can diagnose and repair amusement arcade games and virtual reality games, and possesses a friendly, engaging management style. This role requires the ability to handle busy periods, work long hours (average of 50-hour work weeks), and communicate effectively to inspire fun and elevate team performance.
Requirements
- 21+ years of age
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar environment diagnosing and fixing arcade games and technical equipment
- Ability to lead a team to create a memorable guest experience
- Not afraid to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with distracting conditions
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, regarding all job responsibilities
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays

Responsibilities
- Hiring, training, developing, and retaining a team of technicians.
- Creating and maintaining a well-maintained, safe, secure, and sanitary environment for guests and staff.
- Keeping arcade equipment maintained and in proper working order.
- Adhering to all outlined preventative maintenance programs.
- Monitoring and performing daily store maintenance as instructed.
- Striving for 100% game playability and repairing games on the fly.
