About The Position

This is a 1.0 FTE Assistant Administrator position with a .8 FTE TOSA component. The role involves assisting in the implementation of the school mission and achieving excellence in student learning, team collaboration, fostering a positive school environment, and effective communication. The Assistant Administrator will empower students to manage emotions, resolve conflicts, build positive relationships, and develop problem-solving skills. This role also requires establishing and maintaining good communication with staff, students, parents, and community partners, supporting school learning teams, and partnering with the principal for teacher observations and evaluations. Other responsibilities will be defined by the principal.

Requirements

  • Licensed by the State of Minnesota to teach middle school students.
  • MN Administrative license.
  • Experience in leading teachers to maximize academic growth for students.
  • Ability to build relationships with staff, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience as an instructional leader.
  • Team building, consensus, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to communicate well and lead change.
  • Experience in facilitating positive behavioral systems school-wide.
