About The Position

This position is for a Secondary Teacher who will be responsible for consistent planning of daily instructional goals, strategies, and assessment methods aligned with district and state curriculum. The teacher will ensure adequate plans for substitutes, demonstrate effective instruction with strong content knowledge, and implement strategies beneficial to all students, including those underachieving or with special needs. Key aspects include analyzing assessment results, implementing instructional interventions, maintaining student engagement, providing quality feedback, and fostering a supportive classroom environment with high expectations. The role also involves demonstrating student progress, participating in school and district activities, engaging in professional development, building relationships with parents, maintaining accurate records, and actively participating in the Teacher Growth and Development process. Adherence to safety procedures, punctuality, active student supervision, confidentiality of student information, and facilitating parent-teacher conferences are also required. The teacher will perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
