We are a collaborative mid-sized agency with a current opportunity for an Assistant Account Executive to join one of our leading consumer groups specializing in growing Food, Fitness, Wellness, and CPG.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ demonstrated experience in an agency setting
  • Curiosity and collaboration

  • Strong grasp of internet and social trends
  • Openness to new and more productive ways of working
  • Organization and attention to detail
  • Travel is required from time-to-time (within reason and barring pandemic set-backs)
  • A love of food and passion for identifying food-related trends

Responsibilities

  • Media Relations - Play an integral part of news engine efforts, drafting pitches, creating media lists and pitching reporters, collaborating with broader team on progress. Additionally, monitor for media/stories relevant to clients to analyze, build and solidify valuable media relationships.
  • Writing - Draft client emails and program recaps with direction and oversight from supervisors
  • Trend Mining - Keep tabs on the latest social and culture trends and proactively share suggestions for clients.
  • Account Management Team Logistics - Keep account teams organized by managing agendas, call notes, and client emails and requests, as needed
