About The Position

The Asset Protection Lead leads and trains the asset protection team to protect company assets and interests through established security measures. These assets include products, equipment, property, customers, and employees. The role supports the security of the facility and helps ensure a safe and orderly environment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in asset protection or a related field.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Previous Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with internal and external customers.
• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; required weight may be greater depending on the facility.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and direct the work of the asset protection team.
• Safeguard premises by monitoring alarms, cameras, and other security systems, and report unsafe or suspicious activity.
• Conduct inspections and investigations as needed and maintain appropriate reports and documentation.
• Monitor facility entrances and examine and verify documents such as driver’s licenses, proof of insurance, and bills of lading.
• Facilitate traffic control and conduct foot patrols and facility inspections.
• Conduct trailer temperature checks.
• Submit recommendations to continuously improve team efficiency.
• Perform assigned projects as instructed.
