About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the facility and surrounding areas. The associate will conduct safety sweeps, follow proper procedures for handling materials, observe and report suspicious activity, assist with investigations, and execute emergency response procedures. The role emphasizes respecting individuals by embracing differences, creating an inclusive workplace, building strong relationships, and motivating others. It also involves acting with integrity by upholding ethical standards, modeling company values, and contributing to the company's goal of becoming a regenerative company. Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards procedures and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company steel standard guidelines, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Secures and safeguards the Facility and surrounding areas by observing and communicating suspicious activity, assisting with investigations, maintaining paperwork logs and other required documentation, and appropriately executing emergency response procedures.
• Works as a team, builds strong and trusting relationships, and communicates with impact, energy, and positivity to motivate and influence.
• Strengthens the team by helping, developing, and mentoring others, and recognizes others' contributions and accomplishments.
