About The Position

The Asset Protection Associate is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the facility and its surrounding areas. This role involves adhering to safety standards, observing and reporting suspicious activity, assisting with investigations, and executing emergency response procedures. The associate will also contribute to a culture of respect, integrity, and continuous improvement, aligning with Walmart's values and commitment to serving customers and members.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards procedures and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company steel standard guidelines, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Secures and safeguards the Facility and surrounding areas by observing and communicating suspicious activity, assisting with investigations, maintaining paperwork logs and other required documentation, and appropriately executing emergency response procedures.
• Works as a team, builds strong and trusting relationships, and communicates with impact, energy, and positivity to motivate and influence.
• Strengthens the team by helping, developing, and mentoring others, and recognizes others' contributions and accomplishments.
