Asset Manager (Administrative Staff)
About The Position
The Asset Management Office is seeking an Asset Manager who will assist with the financial oversight of the multifamily rental housing portfolio, analyze property financials and operating metrics, and assist with the management of ownership structure and financial changes requested by property owners. The role involves working with partners to develop work out plans for troubled properties and representing OHFA at meetings, conferences, seminars, and in-person. This position will work from OHFA's offices located at 2600 Corporate Exchange Drive, Columbus, OH 43231. Occasional travel may be required for conferences, trainings, or property visits.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in real estate, business management, accounting, finance or related field.
- 18 months experience with multifamily real estate, finance, and/or asset management, or
- 18 months experience with Budgeting or
- 18 months experience managing a portfolio of real estate, and familiarity with private financing and federal, state, and local government funding
- Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate complex activities, prioritize conflicting demands and meet deadlines.
- Strong business writing skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to read, interpret, and analyze financial statements.
- Sound understanding of multi-family real estate terminology and concepts
- Strong computer skills with excellent MS Excel skills.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of LIHTC preferred.
