Asset Management Specialist
About The Position
Sodexo is seeking an experienced CMMS & Asset Management Administrator to support a Life Science client located in Foster City, CA. The CMMS & Management Administrator is responsible for Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) administration, including but not limited to, asset induction and management of asset lifecycle activities, creation of job plans and preventive maintenance/calibration schedule, work order issuance and report generation as instructed by the client. The CMMS Administrator works closely with the Facilities Team to include the Maintenance Supervisors, Planners, and the Engineering group to maintain the plant’s asset master data in Maximo and / or SAP including the Preventative Maintenance program.
Requirements
- 2+ years' experience in CMMS data support, operations, or customer service.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Able to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio).
- Ability to identify deviations from standard practices
- Familiarity with cGMP; applies daily
- Uses judgment within defined procedures to determine actions
- Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree
- Minimum Functional Experience - 1 year
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Maximo and Tableau preferred
Responsibilities
- Support Asset Management administration and provide customer support for asset induction and lifecycle management in CMMS
- Manage PM and calibration schedules, job plans, and work orders in CMMS
- Handle GMP and non-GMP assets (buildings, systems, equipment, instruments)
- Assist facility specialists with documentation and implementation tasks
- Help prepare and maintain operations and maintenance plans
- Perform system tasks like reporting, data analysis, and transactions
- Contribute to team initiatives (e.g., testing, work instructions, updates) and support drafting of process documents, flows, and status reports
- Identify issues and propose solutions within set processes
- Apply technical knowledge to perform basic analysis and tasks
- Assist during audits/inspections by providing necessary documentation.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
- Follow detailed instructions and standard procedures
