About The Position

You will serve as a strategic advisor helping optimize critical water infrastructure investments through lifecycle planning, condition assessment, and long-term asset strategies. Your expertise will directly support investment prioritization, asset renewal planning, and risk-based decision-making for one of the largest public utilities in the country. In this role, your insights will help improve reliability, efficiency, and long-term sustainability across complex water systems. This is an opportunity to shape how infrastructure assets are managed for decades to come. This opportunity is contingent upon our client being awarded the contract.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of utility asset management experience
  • Experience with large municipal or regional water utilities
  • Strong knowledge of lifecycle planning, condition assessment, and capital planning
  • Experience in risk-based infrastructure prioritization

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ISO 55000 asset management principles preferred
  • California utility or public infrastructure experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate utility asset management programs and lifecycle strategies
  • Support capital planning and investment prioritization decisions
  • Conduct asset criticality and risk assessments
  • Develop infrastructure renewal and replacement strategies
  • Advise on long-term condition assessment and performance optimization
  • Support executive planning through asset management recommendations
