Requirements

  • Shall possess at the time of award a Secret security clearance
  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Ability to conduct research into PC and software issues and products as required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in lieu of education, including consideration of vendor certification in the technology being applied.
  • 3 or more years of professional experience supporting a similar role.
  • ITIL v4 Foundations, CompTIA Security+, DPAS training certification

  • Experience supporting a DoD or J6 customer is a plus.
  • CompTIA A+

Responsibilities

  • Maintains accurate records of J6 IT assets in DPAS, ensuring all equipment is properly tracked from receipt through disposition.
  • Processes DD Form 1150s for all equipment issuances, turn-ins, and lateral transfers within the Tier II Deskside and Remote Support program.
  • Conducts periodic physical inventories of IT equipment assigned to J6-supported organizations, reconciling physical counts against DPAS records.
  • Coordinates with deskside technicians on asset movements, equipment swaps, and hardware replacements to ensure DPAS records remain current.
  • Supports the imaging and deployment team by tracking device assignments and ensuring new deployments are recorded in DPAS.
  • Processes equipment disposition requests in accordance with DoD property accountability regulations.
  • Identifies and resolves discrepancies between physical inventory and DPAS records.
  • Maintains documentation of all asset management transactions and supports internal and external audits.
  • Coordinates with the 6.12 Asset Management Program team on property accountability policies and procedures.
  • Provides asset management reports to Deskside Manager and J6 program leadership.
