About The Position

WQS Group is searching for an Asset & Fleet Supervisor to join our Shared Services team! As an Asset & Fleet Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing the company's fleet, equipment, and asset management functions. You will be responsible for ensuring the readiness, compliance, maintenance, and effective utilization of company vehicles, NDT equipment, rope access gear, and other operational assets that support project execution.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in fleet management, asset management, equipment coordination, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of fleet operations, asset management systems, compliance requirements, and maintenance programs.
  • Experience managing inventory, logistics, mobilization planning, and equipment tracking.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and asset management software systems.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Rope Access, and/or IRATA requirements is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the Asset & Fleet team, providing guidance and direction.
  • Oversee the coordination, tracking, maintenance, and utilization of company vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance, inspections, certifications, and repairs are completed on schedule.
  • Manage the allocation and deployment of assets based on operational and project requirements.
  • Oversee inventory levels, equipment readiness, and logistics activities including shipping, receiving, staging, mobilization, and demobilization.
  • Ensure fleet, equipment, and asset records are accurate, current, and audit-ready.
  • Maintain compliance with company, client, regulatory, and industry requirements.
  • Review and approve fleet and asset-related expenses, vendor pricing, and service agreements.
  • Monitor asset utilization and performance, identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost savings.
  • Support audits, incident investigations, reporting requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operations, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support project readiness and execution.
