About The Position

Amentum is seeking an Asset Coordinator to support Operations & Maintenance activities. This role is responsible for planning, prioritizing, and coordinating maintenance to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operation of site equipment. The position directly supports operational uptime, safety compliance, efficient execution of maintenance, and accurate documentation across campus facilities. The Coordinator will assess, schedule, and coordinate maintenance for hoists, MEWPs (Mobile Elevating Work Platforms), forklifts, elevators, and related equipment to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operation, and ensure all work orders, inspections, and maintenance records are completed accurately and on time.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and perform routine site walkdowns across a large, multi-building campus environment.
  • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment background check and substance abuse test.
  • This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years of facility maintenance experience in office buildings, manufacturing plants, or other industrial environments
  • 3 years’ experience in asset management

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are met for all asset maintenance activities, overseeing subcontractor execution and performance
  • Perform site inspections of hoists, MEWPs, forklifts, elevators, and related equipment to assess condition, safety, and readiness
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with appropriate subcontractors to meet safety, mechanical, and operational requirements
  • Oversee elevator and vertical transportation systems across campus facilities, including routine preventive and corrective maintenance, annual state inspections, and execution of complex repairs and capital projects through subcontractor coordination
  • Evaluate maintenance requests, set priorities, and assign work to internal teams or external vendors
  • Build and maintain a network of qualified and certified vendors for lifting and material handling equipment
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure schedule adherence, safety compliance, and quality of work
  • Review bids, proposals, and scope of work for technical accuracy and cost effectiveness
  • Support pricing evaluations for materials, rentals, and service contracts
  • Ensure all work orders, inspections, certifications, and documentation are completed accurately and on time
