About The Position

The Assessor conducts Comprehensive Needs Assessments for the Clinical Department. Assessments are conducted for Mental Health Skill-Building, Intensive In-Home, Substance Use Intensive Outpatient, and Substance Use Partial Hospitalization. The Assessor must have knowledge of direct behavioral health and substance use services. Including (but not limited to): Assessment, treatment, and consultation. DSM-5-TR, Diagnosis and symptomology Medical Necessity and Service Components of: Substance Use Intensive Outpatient, and Substance Use Partial Hospitalization, and Mental Health Skill-Building. Applicants must be able to apply counseling, diagnosis theories, and techniques to a full range of diverse consumer populations. Time Management and Timely Submissions.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of direct behavioral health and substance use services, including assessment, treatment, and consultation.
  • Knowledge of DSM-5-TR, Diagnosis and symptomology.
  • Knowledge of Medical Necessity and Service Components of: Substance Use Intensive Outpatient, Substance Use Partial Hospitalization, and Mental Health Skill-Building.
  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related Human Services field.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience working in a crisis setting with individuals and families.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of administrative, supervisory experience.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and computer savvy.
  • Licensed by the Board of Counseling (LMHP Type---LPC, LMFT, LCSW, Resident In Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work).
