This position is part of the Population and Public Health - Regina facility, specifically within the Mental Health & Addictions Centralized Intake & Navigation department. The role involves full-time regular employment with standard hours, working days and weekends. The salary band for this position is Assessor Coordinator - Degree, ranging from $36.721 to $44.902.
Requirements
- Recognized degree in nursing, or a social work degree.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Membership in the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW).
- Membership in the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
- Knowledge of theories, concepts, and intervention strategies for case management practice.
- Demonstrated ability to practice core functions of case management.
- Understanding of client confidentiality and the Health Information Protection Act.
- Effective interpersonal relationship skills.
- Demonstrated approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
- Ability to be a team player and build/maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Knowledge in time management.
- Skills in advocacy, negotiation, crisis management, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to facilitate case/family conferences.
- Technical skills necessary to perform functions of position.
- Knowledge specific to populations being served (e.g., Gerontology & Aging).
- Knowledge of community resources.
- Understanding of Policies, Procedures, Regulations, and Legislation pertaining to the area of practice.
- Requires a valid driver’s license.
- May require access to a vehicle for work.
