This position is part of the Population and Public Health - Regina facility, specifically within the Mental Health & Addictions Centralized Intake & Navigation department. The role involves full-time regular employment with standard hours, working days and weekends. The salary band for this position is Assessor Coordinator - Degree, ranging from $36.721 to $44.902.

Requirements

  • Recognized degree in nursing, or a social work degree.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Membership in the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW).
  • Membership in the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
  • Knowledge of theories, concepts, and intervention strategies for case management practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to practice core functions of case management.
  • Understanding of client confidentiality and the Health Information Protection Act.
  • Effective interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Demonstrated approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
  • Ability to be a team player and build/maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Knowledge in time management.
  • Skills in advocacy, negotiation, crisis management, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to facilitate case/family conferences.
  • Technical skills necessary to perform functions of position.
  • Knowledge specific to populations being served (e.g., Gerontology & Aging).
  • Knowledge of community resources.
  • Understanding of Policies, Procedures, Regulations, and Legislation pertaining to the area of practice.
  • Requires a valid driver’s license.
  • May require access to a vehicle for work.
