About The Position

This position is part of the Population and Public Health team in Regina, specifically within the Mental Health & Addictions Centralized Intake & Navigation department. The role focuses on case management, care planning, and service delivery within the scope of mental health and addictions.

Requirements

Recognized degree in nursing, or a social work degree.
Valid Class 5 driver's license.
Knowledge of theories, concepts, intervention strategies for case management practice.
Ability to practice core functions of case management.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Understanding of client confidentiality and the Health Information Protection Act.
Effective interpersonal relationship skills.
Demonstrated approaches to problem solving with strong decision-making capability.
Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
Knowledge in time management.
Skills in advocacy, negotiation, crisis management and conflict resolution.
Ability to facilitate case/family conferences.
Technical skills necessary to perform functions of position.
Knowledge specific to populations being served, e.g., Gerontology & Aging.
Knowledge of community resources.
Knowledge of Policies, Procedures, Regulations and Legislation pertaining to area of practice.
Empathy and respect necessary to engage and develop rapport.
Ability for self-reflective practice.
Requires a valid driver’s license.
May require access to a vehicle for work.

Nice To Haves

18 months of recognized (postgraduate) clinical experience preferred.
Membership in Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW).
Membership in College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
