About The Position

This position is part of the Population and Public Health - Regina facility, specifically within the Mental Health & Addictions Centralized Intake & Navigation department. The role involves full-time, regular employment with standard hours, including days and weekends, with 28 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks. The salary band for this position is Pay Band Assessor Coordinator - Degree, ranging from $36.721 to $44.902.

Requirements

  • Recognized degree in nursing, or a social work degree.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
  • College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Client confidentiality and the Health Information Protection Act
  • Effective interpersonal relationship skills
  • Demonstrated approaches to problem solving w/strong decision-making capability
  • Team player with ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Knowledge in time management
  • Advocacy, negotiation, crisis management and conflict resolution
  • Ability to facilitate case/family conferences.
  • Technical skills necessary to perform functions of position
  • Knowledge specific to populations being served, example: Gerontology & Aging
  • Knowledge of community resources
  • Policies, Procedures, Regulations and Legislation pertaining to area of practice
  • Empathy and respect necessary to engage and develop rapport
  • Self-reflective practice

  • 18 months of recognized (postgraduate) clinical experience preferred
