About The Position

The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking an experienced project manager to fill the Assessments Administrator position. This position spearheads the end-to-end management of projects focused on assessment and case planning tools. This role involves cross-functional leadership to drive the enhancement and delivery of intake and risk/needs assessment workflows while ensuring alignment with organizational methodologies and ADCRR standards. Directs small-to-medium-scale initiatives, overseeing timelines, risk mitigation, and reporting to ensure successful implementation. Serves as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors, supporting assessment-related systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manages multiple small to medium-sized projects related to the development, enhancement, or implementation of intake and risk assessment tools, case planning processes, and associated system functionality
  • Leverages subject matter expertise in assessment processes and organizational policy to optimize workflows and drive system improvements
  • Develops, organizes, and maintains tracking for assessment and case planning system enhancements, vendor change requests, and related contracts
  • Tracks vendor tickets and issues associated with assessment and case planning modules
  • Creates, manages, and oversees project timelines, deadlines, risks, project plans, project activities, and documentation for various projects and initiatives
  • Creates and manages reporting and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
  • Works collaboratively with financial services on related project budgets and invoicing
  • Communicates and builds relationships with vendors/vendors representatives and agency business units to support ongoing system functionality for assessments and case planning
  • Clarifies business needs and ensures alignment
  • Serves as a key point of contact for vendor teams supporting assessment-related systems
  • Drives and travels for state business with possible overnight stays
  • Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment
