About The Position

Carrollton Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an Assessment Specialist RN to support the department’s clinical, operational, and administrative needs. The role contributes to the organization’s mission of making communities healthier and providing exceptional care.

Carrollton Springs is a 78-bed behavioral health hospital serving the Carrollton, Texas community. The position is scheduled full time on weekends: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing.
• Hold a current, unencumbered RN license to practice as required by the State Board of Nursing.
• CPR and de-escalation certification are required within 30 days of employment and before any patient contact.
• Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in an emergency department or psychiatric healthcare facility.
• Direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients.
