About The Position
An Assessment RN is responsible for supporting the needs of the department with a focus on clinical, operational and administrative excellence. Carrollton Springs is a 78-bed behavioral health hospital offering exceptional care to the Carrollton, TX community.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing.
- Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.
- Experience in patient assessment, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
- CPR and de-escalation certification is required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
- Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing
