The Assessment Generalist works business hours Monday-Friday, offering an excellent work/life balance with a predictable 35-hour work-week. This role involves interviewing clients referred by New York City’s HRA, applying clinical judgment to determine appropriate treatment needs and levels of care. The Assessment Generalist works with a variety of clients and interacts with treatment providers daily. Under the supervision of a CASAC Supervisor, you will link individuals to chemical dependency treatment and harm reduction programs, and review progress to assist clients in recovery, leading to self-sufficiency.
