About The Position

Brynn Marr Hospital is committed to providing the highest standard of psychiatric care to adults, adolescents, and children. Since 1983, our behavioral health therapists in Jacksonville, NC, have equipped patients with the skills they need to live happier, healthier, and more productive lives. We offer evidence-based treatment programs that address a number of issues, including grief, trauma, psychiatric disorders, and substance abuse problems. This position works to serve the patient and patient’s family through the coordination of Admissions planning. This person must possess discretion, the ability to act independently, good clinical judgment, creative thinking and problem-solving initiative. Strong communication skills, and the ability to exhibit empathy are a must. The person in this position must be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills and strong time management skills.

Requirements

Master’s degree from an accredited university in a clinical area, such as counseling or social work.
Light Work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for sedentary work.
