About The Position

Nesco Resource is hiring an Assembly Technician for a growing industrial manufacturing team in the Claremore area. This is a long-term, contract-to-hire opportunity with an established company that builds large-scale industrial equipment for commercial and industrial applications. The role involves hands-on assembly work in a production environment focused on craftsmanship, consistency, and quality. The position is full-time and on-site. The schedule is Monday through Thursday on first or second shift, or weekends. Occasional overtime may be required based on production demands. Pay is $22–$24 per hour, with an additional $2 differential for nights and weekends. The work takes place in an industrial manufacturing facility that is not climate-controlled and may expose employees to dust, noise, dirt, and metal particles. Required PPE includes safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators when needed, and OSHA-compliant safety footwear.

Requirements

Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is required.
Experience using hand tools in an industrial or production environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Use required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators when needed, and OSHA-compliant safety footwear.

Responsibilities

Assemble and build industrial heat exchange and mechanical equipment using hand tools and shop equipment.
Install structural and mechanical drive components, including motors and related assemblies.
Secure and install hardware fasteners according to production specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
Maintain quality standards throughout the assembly process.
Follow company safety procedures, policies, and manufacturing guidelines.
