About The Position

Kia of North Tucson is hiring Used Car and Main Line Service Technicians to perform quality vehicle repairs and provide exceptional service in a close-knit, supportive shop environment. The role includes diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical concerns, completing routine maintenance and inspections, documenting work to factory and warranty requirements, and communicating with service advisors. The dealership offers paid training and manufacturer training opportunities to help technicians develop their skills and careers. Pay is up to $45.00 per flat-rate hour, with a $5,000 bonus paid over 12 months depending on experience. The position requires open availability for a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

At least 3 years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Technician.
ASE certifications; the employer will support earning additional certifications.
Commitment to high-quality repairs.
Ability to work as a team player.
Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in the state of residence.
High school graduate or equivalent.
At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical concerns to Hyundai factory standards.
Perform advanced drivability, electrical, and warranty repairs.
Lead junior technicians when needed.
Complete routine maintenance services and multi-point inspections.
Document all work performed in compliance with factory and warranty requirements.
Communicate with service advisors regarding diagnostics, timelines, and repair recommendations.
Stay current with service technology, service bulletins, and required factory training.
