We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Crating Specialist in Poestenkill, NY. The Crating Specialist is responsible for reading and understanding assembly prints for the purpose of building various pieces of equipment and equipment packaging.

Requirements

• Academic/Professional Education: High school or GED
• Relevant Experience: 3-5 years hands on experience
• Technical Skills/Knowledge: Knowledge of mechanical assembly drawings, ability to work with numerous specialized hand tools

Nice To Haves

• Military experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for reading and following assembly drawings and work order instructions for all crating and machine packaging.
• Responsible for reading and following assembly drawings and work order instructions for all assembly work.
• Work with the Service Engineering department to commission and troubleshoot machine issues
• Work with the Engineering department and Production team to improve designs and manufacturability of all parts.
• Be able to build shipping crates safely and efficiently
• Be able to read / write English proficiently
