About The Position

Under the direction of the Automation Engineer Assistant Manager, this role coordinates and oversees caster machine operations within an assigned production area. The Assembly Technician Lead maintains equipment and materials to ensure safe, efficient production and quality parts that meet specifications. This role also supervises, trains, and delegates tasks to caster machine personnel.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–2 years of hands-on manufacturing or injection molding experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Good written and verbal English communication skills.
Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to follow procedures, troubleshoot equipment, and work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Follow and enforce company policies, procedures, SOPs, safety practices, and 5S standards.
Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair caster machines and ergonomic equipment to maximize production uptime.
Perform machine start-ups, shutdowns, setups, and adjustments according to the production schedule.
Conduct quality checks to ensure production and quality standards are met.
Communicate effectively with management, maintenance, production personnel, and other shifts to ensure smooth operations and handoffs.
Identify major equipment issues and communicate repair needs to appropriate personnel.
Supervise, train, and delegate responsibilities to caster machine personnel.
Assist with assembling boxes, pallets, labels, and other materials for finished goods.
Stack and load finished products onto pallets.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Read and follow the company production schedule.
Perform other duties as assigned.
