About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking an Assembly Technician II, 2nd Shift. This position is responsible for meeting daily production targets with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory management, and productivity. The role involves assembling Low Voltage Assemblies and performing all related tasks, including those assigned to Assembler I (Flex and Lean), as well as operating assembly machinery. Additional duties include PowerWave2 hi-pot testing, label creation, quality verification, and completing material transactions in AS400. May be required to obtain or maintain QEW certification to perform electrical testing on assemblies. The Assembler II will assemble, adjust, or repair components using a variety of tools, fixtures, gauges, and equipment; perform layout work and operate tools such as drills, saws, punches, riveters, caulking, and painting equipment as needed. They will read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings; follow standard operating procedures, method sheets, and both written and verbal instructions from supervisors. The role also includes performing visual inspections and quality checks before, during, and after assembly to ensure all products meet specifications; applying identification labels to completed assemblies. Support production flow by retrieving and delivering materials, preparing assemblies for shipment or storage, and completing associated material transactions. Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and WSRA requirements. Provide support across production areas. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
6 months of industrial manufacturing experience
6 months of experience using hand and air tools
Proven problem-solving skills.
Collaboration with team members.
Being flexible and open to changes in processes or tasks.
Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe workplace (5S+).
Able to work independently with minimum direction.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and push or pull up to 100 lbs with or without accommodation.
