About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking an Assembly Technician II. The rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. The core hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am until 4:00 pm and Friday from 7:00 am until 11:00 am. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
Experience with hand and pneumatic (air) tools.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of industrial manufacturing experience
South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent

Responsibilities

Assemble, wire, and modify components according to established guidelines for medium- and high‑voltage indoor and outdoor assemblies, breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, customer service orders, power modules, and related sub‑assemblies.
Follow manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, and written or verbal instructions from supervisors or team leads in accordance with established procedures.
Complete ISO, quality, customer, and production checklists, along with feedback forms, for supervision, drafting, customer service, and engineering as required.
Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wiring operations as needed.
Regularly lift and assemble heavy copper components.
Report Kanban inventory shortages to the appropriate operators.
Inspect assemblies for missing or loose hardware and ensure overall cleanliness.
Respond to change notices, customer‑requested adjustments, and development updates.
Support engineering, drafting, and supervision with customer‑driven development work.
Train and coach colleagues to support knowledge transfer and skill development.
