About The Position

The Assembly Tech receives, prepares, and assembles FRP panels for delivery to customers. The role involves preparing parts and producing quality assemblies while meeting daily deadlines set by management within reason and following Jupiter Bach safety rules. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for 4 or more hours per shift.
Ability to use power and hand tools safely for 4 or more hours per shift.
Ability to work in hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environments.
Ability to work in crowded spaces for 4 or more hours per shift.
Ability to bend and crawl for 4 or more hours per shift.
Ability to crouch, kneel, and stoop for 4 or more hours per shift.
Ability to climb ladders for 4 or more hours per shift.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for 6 or more hours per shift.
Ability to perform simple grasping, pushing, pulling, fine manipulation, and feeling for 6 or more hours per shift.
Ability to operate foot pedals for 4 or more hours per shift.
Ability to make fine distinctions in sound, express and exchange written or spoken words, and visually distinguish objects and equipment.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience operating warehouse equipment and successful completion of a forklift training program.
Ability to identify parts needed per sales orders.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and mathematical skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Knowledge of Jupiter Bach and OSHA safety requirements.
