About The Position

Openwork is hiring two Assembly Team Members for a manufacturing company supporting the Oil & Gas industry in Humble, TX. This hands-on position involves preparing parts, assembling components, inspecting completed work, and following established production and quality procedures. Qualified candidates should have 1–2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow work instructions accurately.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with assembly tools.

Responsibilities

• Review assembly instructions and parts lists before beginning each project.
• Gather required parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Position components using templates and work instructions.
• Assemble and fasten parts, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
• Inspect connections and completed assemblies for quality and accuracy.
• Report assembly problems or missing resources to the supervisor.
• Complete production and quality-control documentation.
• Use tools, equipment, and supplies responsibly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with additional assembly and production duties as needed.
