About The Position

The Testing Team Coordinator supports the Supervisor in leading day-to-day operations within the electrical testing area. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate testing of electrical equipment by maintaining workflow, supporting test stations, and resolving issues that impact productivity or quality. The Coordinator plays a key role in troubleshooting test failures, ensuring adherence to electrical test procedures, and coordinating with Engineering and Quality to drive timely issue resolution and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience, with exposure to electrical assembly or testing
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of electrical safety practices and standards
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication across production, engineering, and quality teams
  • Ability to support and direct workflow on the production floor
  • Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and accuracy

Nice To Haves

  • Previous lead, trainer, or coordinator experience
  • Hands-on experience with electrical testing (e.g., continuity, hipot, functional/system testing)
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical systems or components

Responsibilities

  • Maintain continuous flow of electrical testing by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks
  • Support and fill in at electrical test stations as needed (functional, high-voltage, and system testing)
  • Ensure all testing is performed in compliance with safety standards and established procedures
  • Troubleshoot and assist in diagnosing electrical and functional test failures
  • Escalate recurring or complex issues to Engineering, Quality, or leadership as appropriate
  • Verify test equipment is operational, calibrated, and ready for use
  • Monitor test output, cycle times, and first-pass yield to meet production targets
  • Identify material, wiring, or component issues impacting test performance
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Production) to resolve issues quickly
  • Drive adherence to workmanship standards, documentation, and testing protocols
  • Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the testing area
  • Promote a strong safety-first culture, especially around electrical hazards
