About The Position

Supervise and coordinate the activities of assembly line workers. Ensure that productivity, quality, and safety goals are met or exceeded. This role involves interpreting company policies, maintaining operations data, preparing management reports, and recommending improvements to production methods and equipment. The supervisor will also recommend personnel actions such as discipline and promotions.

Requirements

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Two to four years related experience
Computer Skills: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety glasses, hearing protection in some areas)
Vision (Near, Distance)
Sense of Touch

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of assembly line workers.
Ensure that productivity, quality, and safety goals are met or exceeded.
Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees, or assign employees to.
Interpret company policies and procedures for employees.
Maintain operations data such as time, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports.
Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment.
Recommend personnel actions such as discipline and promotions.
