Supervises and develops employees in the assembly department through training and observation. Leads assemblers and mechanical techs, enforces safety policies, and communicates with management and other leads. Responsible for preparing and organizing tasks, managing the build schedule, and utilizing ERP for production status. Evaluates processes for improvements in quality, tooling, and run times, and develops standard work and work instructions. Troubleshoots issues with project managers and engineering, and directs the assembly team on proper techniques. Assembles functional parts, installs components, and may operate welding equipment. Conducts interviews and employee reviews.
