External candidates will receive a sign-on bonus of $3,000. This role is a 2nd Shift position, Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM. The training schedule will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM for approximately 60 days. This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40. As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a HS Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or in the absence of a HS Diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification of IPC Class III Solder Exam.
  • Experience with electronic assembly.
  • Experience in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and repair a variety of electronic units using prescribed repair techniques.
  • Identify correct parts, components, wires, and materials needed for assembly and repair.
  • Solder electronic components using industry-standard techniques and tools.
  • Remove suspect and failed components and install new components accurately.
  • Operate assembly machines and ensure proper functioning.
  • Measure, mix, and apply chemicals and adhesives according to safety and operational guidelines.
  • Read and interpret technical data including component maintenance manuals, assembly instructions, and engineering prints.
  • Communicate work status to team members and support staff, ensuring seamless workflow.
  • Document clear and concisely and maintain accurate records.
  • Utilize computer skills and office software applications.
