About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring Assembly Line Workers in Cedar Park, Texas. The role involves measuring and cutting wire, winding copper wire onto coils or other components, assembling and securing components, and inspecting finished assemblies for compliance with specifications and tolerances. Workers must maintain clean tools, equipment, and work areas and follow safety rules. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; overtime may be required based on production needs, including Saturdays. Compensation is $18.50 per hour. Weekly pay is available by direct deposit or debit card. Ascend Staffing offers health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance.

Requirements

Manufacturing and assembly line experience is required.
Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach throughout a 10–12-hour shift.
Read and interpret blueprints and instructions in English.
Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Measure and cut wire to required lengths using precision tools.
Manually wind copper wire onto coils or other components.
Maintain proper tension and alignment while winding to prevent damage or malfunction.
Align, fit, and secure components using screws, bolts, clips, welding equipment, or adhesive equipment.
Inspect finished assemblies and measure parts to verify they meet specifications and tolerances.
Keep tools, equipment, and the work area clean and comply with safety rules.
