About The Position

TAR is building an off-grid power plant for data centers using renewable technologies, with a focus on delivering large-scale power quickly. The company vertically integrates hardware and software, including racking systems, power electronics, dispatch algorithms, and on-site construction. The Assembly Line Technician will build and test TAR hardware at its test site in West Texas. Working in a small crew of assemblers, machinists, and a welder, the technician will assemble racking tables, robot subassemblies, and field equipment; stage parts; install hardware; and repair equipment affected by field use. The role reports to the Manufacturing Lead. Work processes may change as the team develops improved installation sequences, fixtures, and part designs, and technician feedback will help inform production at gigawatt scale. Much of the work is hands-on and outdoors in West Texas weather.
