About The Position

Join a busy manufacturing team in Georgetown, TX, as an Assembly Line Worker / Manufacturing Assembler. This temp-to-hire position offers a starting pay of $17.00 per hour with weekly pay. You will have the opportunity to build valuable assembly, production, and manufacturing experience, with overtime available. The role involves assembling components to complete cabinets, preparing items for painting, reading work orders and blueprints, labeling, and inspecting finished products. Successful conversion offers an expanded benefits package including PTO, 401(k), profit sharing, and ESOP.

Requirements

  • Previous assembler, assembly line, production, or manufacturing experience performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and squat throughout the scheduled shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to read and understand English-language work orders, blueprints, specifications, and production instructions used for the position.
  • Reliable ability to report to the Georgetown, TX worksite on time for scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to attend the required 3-day training schedule from 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
  • Availability to work overtime as required by production needs.
  • Ability to satisfy applicable pre-employment background screening and drug testing requirements, where permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working on a manufacturing assembly line.
  • Experience assembling cabinets, sheet metal products, hardware, or similar manufactured products.
  • Experience with finished-goods inspection, packaging, labeling, or palletizing.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble hinges, shelves, doors, hardware, and other components to complete cabinets according to specifications.
  • Hang sheet metal panels on conveyor systems for the painting process.
  • Read and follow work orders, blueprints, production instructions, and product specifications.
  • Apply required labels and palletize finished products according to established procedures.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and verify they meet finished-goods inspection requirements.
  • Notify the Team Leader when components require rework or need to be scrapped.
  • Perform repetitive assembly and production tasks while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
  • Dispose of production scrap and trash and assist with maintaining clean, safe common work areas.
