About The Position

This role involves wiring, assembling, and testing machinery such as conveyors and rotating assemblies according to specifications and shop orders. The position requires checking the quality of parts for dimensional accuracy and quantity, and welding stainless steel. Employees will follow job operations as outlined on the work order and must be willing to work in a non-climate-controlled environment. Reporting dimensional discrepancies to the Supervisor as they occur is essential. The role also requires willingness to cross-train into other areas to meet production schedules and manufacturing needs, and the capability to drive a forklift and operate an overhead crane. Employees must be able to work extra hours daily and on weekends as required, assist in plant housekeeping, and work around chemicals in the assigned department. The position involves interfacing with manufacturing personnel and may require an on-the-job training status for the first few weeks of employment. Additionally, employees will assist in training new personnel and perform other duties as assigned. All employees are required to follow safety and environmental policies and programs, use personal safety devices as required, and report any activities detrimental to safety or productivity, as well as any injuries.

Responsibilities

  • Wire, assemble and test machinery such as conveyors, rotating assemblies, etc. according to specifications and shop orders.
