Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in soldering and electronic assembly techniques.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints with accuracy.
  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree with at least 2 years of related experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under limited supervision.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in AMLCD assembly and display ruggedization.
  • Familiarity with Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and Surface Mount Technology (SMT).

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide array of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations using both skilled hand techniques and automated production equipment.
  • Interpret and apply technical specifications, blueprints, and assembly documentation to achieve precision in assembly tasks.
  • Execute wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing with attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
  • Set up and adjust assemblies, ensuring all work meets blueprint tolerances and operational requirements.
  • Proactively identify and resolve straightforward assembly issues, maintaining workflow and productivity targets.
  • Communicate effectively within and outside the department, sharing expertise and providing technical insights to team members.
  • Maintain compliance with established processes, safety guidelines, and production schedules.
