About The Position

This role involves mechanical assembly, including wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing. The position requires adherence to blueprint specifications and working with limited supervision. Effective communication with internal and external contacts is essential for information exchange and reaching agreements.

Requirements

• 1+ years of previous Mechanical Assembly Experience.
• Experience with Torque wrenches and hand tools.
• Basic Computer Skills with some ERP Systems.
• Strong Soldering skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Requires a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Aerospace or defense experience is ideal but not critical.
• AMLCD assembly and Display Ruggedization experience.
• AOI & SMT experience.

Responsibilities

• Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
• Works under limited supervision.
• Communicates with contacts typically within and outside the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
