Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and basic physical and be able to work full-time, 40+ hours per week. The hours for this position are Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm or Tuesday-Friday 6am-:4:30pm. Due to the nature of our business and a heavy industrial market, Bodycote deems this position to be safety-sensitive. Position Summary: Pay Range: $22/hour to $27/hour, based on skills/experience. Based in South Windsor, CT the Braze Assembly C will perform essential job functions associated with heat treatment under the direction of the Braze Manager to meet customer specifications including assisting other employees as needed. Due to the nature of our business and a heavy industrial market, Bodycote deems this position to be safety-sensitive. Summary: Under general supervision, responsible for preparation of customer parts for brazing according to written requirements/specifications. Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to, the following. Receiving and inspection of customer parts for brazing. Preparation of customer parts for brazing according to blueprints and specifications, including cleaning and assembly. Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping. Must work in a manner consistent with the EMS. This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customers’ inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage. Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position. · Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism. Requirements

  • This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; therefore, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of experience in brazing
  • Must be able to read blueprints/specifications
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is required.
  • This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
