About The Position

Assembles electronic components and wiring using hand and power tools, ensuring quality, safety, and proper installation while working efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The primary duties are assembling fixtures, mounting electronic components, and installing them into larger assemblies or casings. The role includes ensuring electrical wiring is properly installed and testing or troubleshooting equipment before it is put into or returned to service. Assemblers may assemble components by hand or with small tools.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment with specialized configurations.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize.
• Ability to learn quickly and independently.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Ability to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fixtures and electronic components, subassemblies, and products.
• Mount electronic components and install them into larger assemblies or casings.
• Install electrical wiring correctly and test or troubleshoot equipment before it is put into or returned to service.
• Use hand and power tools to perform assembly operations, including drills, crimpers, and wire strippers, and work with screws, bolts, rivets, and press fits.
• Follow security rules, safety policies, instructions, and quality guidelines.
• Learn and perform manual tool operations.
• Complete work with attention to detail and collaborate in a team environment.
