About The Position

The Assembly Builder assembles customized cabinets and supporting products to meet customer specifications for shipment. The role involves reviewing order specifications and drawings, selecting materials, performing fabrication and assembly work, inspecting finished products, maintaining a clean work area, and following safety procedures.

Requirements

• Experience with assembly shop equipment.
• Experience working with power tools.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds individually and up to 160 pounds with a team lift.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements, including bending and squatting.
• Zero to two years of experience in the area of responsibility.

Nice To Haves

• Woodworking experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review customer order specifications, drawings, work orders, or blueprints to identify finished-item characteristics, materials, and machine setup requirements.
• Assemble work pieces according to work order specifications.
• Retrieve the correct materials and perform fabrication duties.
• Inspect work pieces visually, by touch, or with a tape rule, calipers, or gauges to confirm they meet standards.
• Maintain the condition and organization of the work area.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
